Aaron is gaining many benifits fron his Tae Kwon Do experience. This is a sport he truly enjoys and has no problem practicing. He is a fan of Tae Kwon Do and will incorporate it into his other play themes. But he definitely has learned the rewards of practice. He does not need to be coaxed and wantes to achieve any new skill presented.

Amanda is a responsible and honest student and friend. I am very proud of her.
Amanda gets stronger and stronger every month! The self confidence she has gained by attending Tae Kwon Do carries over into her school work.

  • Raymond, 32
I have become a little faster since my last promotion. Also my kicks are a little higher and stronger and I know the more I give the better I will become. I work out at the gym and I swear the work out I get at Tae Kwon Do is just as intense if not more. Working them both in my daily routine is hard work but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love what I do and I would like to thank Peter and Matt for all their hard work and patience.

  • David, 10
David has become much more organized. He works out his schedule so he gets his studying done and his Tae Kwon Do practice in. He has a true respect for Tae Kwon Do. He sees it not just self defense but also an art. David has a greater self confidence since joining.

That's going to cut into my lazy time!" After I started going to classes on a regular basis, I realized it wasn't so bad afterall. I started noticing that I had more energy in my everyday life. I felt (and still do) great. Another benefit was meeting all of the cool people got more energy, new friends, and a pretty awesome hobby. I love it!!
  • Raymond, 32
Taekwondo has let me see the good things in life again and not just the bad. I am the person that if anything can go wrong it will go wrong. In general, I have developed a more controlled and concentrated ability to release tension. Previous years in Kickboxing led to a lot of wild punching and kicking without clear motive. I think that switching to the more formal martial art was of great benefit to me as I can now concentrate my efforts on techniques while incorporating ability to punch, and kick through the target. And, as always, Tae Kwon Do is an excellent source of release and great exercise.

When your child becomes a certain age, as a parent you try to encourage them to become physically active and participate in some type of sport. Frankie had tried 2 or 3 different sports but showed no enthusiasm or interest and always had to be pushed to go.
Since he was the one "wanting" to try Tae Kwon Do, we figured we'd give it a try. We now watch him eagerly get ready to go and he always talks about what he is learning. He's proud of his accomplishments and enjoys what he is learning.

As parents we are very concerened with the events of today's society. It has become dangerous to be a child. I get some comfort that my son is learning to protect and defend himself. When interacting with other children he is not aggressive but he does not allow himself to be pushed around. As he grows up his skills are developing fast. His confidence and discipline is growing too. I am so pround of my son and all his accomplishment at Peter Speciale's.

Jake has improved considerably over the past few weeks. He has made an effort to be more in control of his behavior and actions.

  • Douglas, 9
Douglas has shown much improvement in his behavior and his responsibilities here at home. He takes things more seriously and gives matters more thought than he has in the past. These are really making a big difference in his life.
  • Thomas, 6
Thomas has shown us he can be very much grown up since starting the class. He folds his uniform so neatly to put it away to treat it with respect. He also lists the 5 aims to achieve everyday. And since Tom has always told the truth he makes sure those around him do too. He respects people and what they have to say.
So that they in return will respect him the same way.
