Attention Parents: Cold and Flu Season
As you are well aware, the cold and flu season has begun. Flu, strep, and upper respiratory infections are extremely common these days. In an effort to curb the spread of illness amongst the students in school, if you are uncertain about sending your child to class, please consider the following symptoms: a profuse nasal discharge, a loose or persistant cough, an elevated temperature, complains of a sore throat. Students should be without a fever for twenty four hours prior to returning to class.
As a parent, you know your child best. If your child is not behaving normally, or complaining of ill feelings, it is in your child’s best interest to remain at home and for you to seek medical opinion from your physician.
An ill child cannot function properly in the school setting. Together we can deter the spread of illness in the school and provide a productive and healthy environment for your child.
